Shihan Burke has been training in martial arts for 40 years.
He started training in Tae Kwon Do in 1979, earned his blackbelt in 1986 and moved into karate approximately 23 years ago.
As part of going for his 6th Dan in Tae Kwon Do, he embraced the art of Karate and opened up the Heiwa club in Amien Street and has been running the club since.
The Amien Street headquarters of the club has 42 members.
